MY STORY AS A 

WEDDING PLANNER
 

My journey as a Cape Town wedding planner began with family, history, and champagne. I grew up on one of South Africa’s oldest wine estates – The House of Krone, Twee Jonge Gezellen in Tulbagh – a place steeped in heritage, tradition, and celebration. With 12 generations before me, it was here that I learned the values of hard work, creativity, and elegance, and where I discovered my passion for creating unforgettable moments.

Although my family no longer owns the estate, their spirit and legacy continue to inspire me. I carry their ethos into every wedding I plan, weaving together timeless tradition with modern creativity to design experiences filled with beauty, meaning, and joy.

From an early age, I knew that celebrating love and connection was my calling. At just six years old, when I walked as a page boy at my aunt’s wedding, I witnessed the magic of months of anticipation blossoming into one extraordinary moment. Since then, I have been captivated by the art of bringing people together through unforgettable celebrations.

 

As a wedding planner in Cape Town, I specialise in curating bespoke weddings and events that reflect your unique love story. I weave together elements of history and tradition with personal touches, always adding a dash of novelty and playfulness to spark laughter and joy. My goal is to create weddings that aren’t just beautiful, but deeply meaningful – the kind of celebrations that live on in memory long after the last glass of champagne has been poured.
